Aquatic Fitness Classes are offered daily, Monday-Friday, year-round in the heated pool at LiveWell. The class incorporates non-impact water aerobic exercises with muscular endurance and range of motion movements in a fun, exciting format. It’s an exhilarating, effective, easy-to-follow, Latin-inspired, calorie-burning dance fitness-party™ that’s moving millions of people toward joy and health. LiveWell offers several classes weekly to fit your schedule.
SilverSneakers Classic is a Senior Adult Fitness program which increases muscle strength and range of movement, and improves activities for daily living. You’ll have a chair for seated exercises and standing support. Your instructor can modify the exercises for your fitness level. This class is offered MW at 1:15 pm.
SilverSneakers Circuit is a Senior Adult Fitness program which includes cardio/aerobic activities, muscular strength building exercises, and balance and flexibility movements. Classes are offered MWF at 7:15 a.m., 10:15 a.m., and 11:15 a.m. Join us for fitness, friends, and fun!!!
Circuit Training is an efficient and challenging form of conditioning. It works well for developing strength, endurance (both aerobic and anaerobic), flexibility and coordination.
R.I.P.P.E.D. – Experience this total body “Plateau Proof Fitness Formula” workout, utilizing resistance and cardio training, which masterfully combines Resistance, Intervals, Power, Plyometrics, Endurance, and Diet components of RIPPED. This class will help you attain and maintain your physique in ways that are fun, safe, doable, and extremely effective.
Total Body Tabata is the best way to loose weight without losing lean muscle. The Tabata formula, combining 20 seconds of high intensity exercise followed by 10 seconds rest, has been scientifically proven to increase aerobic and anaerobic fitness, decrease body fat, and increase metabolism. If you are limited on time but would still like to maximize your workout, come try this HIIT class!
Toning (weights & abs) – this is an hour of weight training working all muscle groups as well as some cardio and ab work. This class is constantly changing to keep your body guessing!
Yoga – Specializing in Ashtanga power Yoga, you will focus on breathing while holding postures and maintaining body alignment. Each student will be encouraged to move through the practice at his or her own pace and level. Classes are lead with intent to help calm the mind, reduce stress, detoxify the body and build strength, flexibility, and stamina.
Strong by Zumba™ combines high intensity interval training with the science of Synced Music Motivation. In every class, music and moves sync in a way that pushes you past your perceived limits, to reach your fitness goals faster.
MASHUP™, “The Evolution of HIIT “, is a Variable-intensity interval training (VIIT) program that allows participants to attain true HIIT intervals combined with Mind/Body and Agility & Strength at 3 different fitness levels. Every workout challenges the entire body in numerous ways whether you are performing Mind/Body (yoga/pilates), Agility & Strength, or High-intensity interval movements.
TAI CHI Tai Chi is a low-impact, slow-motion, continuous exercise which differs from other types of exercise in several respects. Although Tai Chi is slow and gentle and doesn’t leave you breathless, it addresses the key components of fitness — muscle strength, flexibility, balance, and, to a lesser degree, aerobic conditioning. Tai Chi can be easily adapted for anyone, from the most fit to people confined to wheelchairs or recovering from surgery.
